Right or wrong is a perspective thing and is very difficult to justify that the perspective of the third person which doesn’t matches with ours is wrong. I am not trying to bring out some stupid example in this scenario and justify things and deeds which harms others but it is still important to try to understand the perspective of the other person before rejecting or condemning the same.
This world is filled with such dilemma. Think of a poor hungry orphan child. He will first think of survival and first requirement of survival is air, water and food. Air and water is still free (best things in the world are free) but not the case with food. The right thing for him is to get the food from somewhere and somehow, whether this requires him to beg or steal doesn’t make a difference to him as his hunger will be satisfied and in his perspective he has done the right thing. Now lets move to the other side of the same story. The child begs at some railway station for food and hundreds of people watch him and some good Samaritan gives him money or food. But the begging by the child shows that the society is unjust in some way or other and things are NOT RIGHT. If the child steals for food then he is wronging the person from whom he has stolen the food, the person may be a small shopkeeper who may be putting stall near the same railway station and earning his daily living so if instead of one may be 5 or 10 such children steal food from his stall one particular night, then it is very shopkeeper is being WRONGED.
So what am I trying to say? Whether Communism is better? No, I am no supporter of communism is better nor do I believe in Capitalism. What is important is that we try to follow Humanism and try to be right for others as well. We live in a society and all of us have egos. Some have small egos while others may have egos larger than whole universe, only if we can do one deed everyday which is right in perspective of a person who is poor, down trodden in terms of our materialistic society we collectively will be able to do more RIGHT THING.
